Men's Clothes
Men did not have more than 2-4 pairs of clothes. There clothes were made of wool and linen, and would usually be sewn. A man had 2-3 night shirts no more. There shirts would be so long that they had to tuck it under there kegs like a diaper. Men wore socks called stocking that went up over the knees.
Men wore garters to hold up stockings. Men did not wear long pants. The short pants were called breaches that went above the knees. Men wore a waist coat that is now called a vest. |
Why Men Wore Clothes
Men wore clothes to cover important parts. They also wore clothes because they wear very fancy and the style was cool to wear.
